Finance Director EEU – Recruitment for Our Client

We are currently recruiting for our client, a leading company in the chemical cleaning and environmental solutions sector, for the role of Finance Director EEU. This position will lead the finance function across multiple countries (Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, and Poland) and play a key role in driving financial performance and strategic growth.

Role Overview

The Finance Director EEU will collaborate closely with the regional EEU management team and the Group Finance Team to ensure financial efficiency, legal compliance, and the achievement of business objectives. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong analytical and leadership skills, and working effectively with multiple stakeholders. The Finance Director will manage the regional finance team and report directly to the Managing Director EEU.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic finance partner to the leadership team and functional heads, providing financial insights to support decision-making.
• Led the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accurate financial planning for local and group executive teams.
• Identify and implement corrective measures for any major deviations from annual budgets and financial targets.
• Provide detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, analyzing performance, risks, and opportunities.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting, sales, marketing, and operational processes.
• Assess projected sales against actual performance and implement measures to improve financial planning.
• Analyze long-term financial trends and support business development efforts in new areas.
• Ensure compliance with all financial and legal obligations in the EEU region.
• Lead the development of a future-state finance function, optimizing efficiency through ERP system implementation.

• Master’s degree in Business Administration (or similar) with a focus on Finance.
• Significant experience in a senior finance leadership role, ideally in an international environment.
• Strong ERP and financial reporting software knowledge, ideally including Hyperion.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) is essential.
