Business Development Manager

About the Role: As a trusted advisor to their clients, you will spearhead efforts to acquire new business from agencies and brands, while nurturing existing relationships to foster growth. Your primary objective will be to cultivate robust connections with prospective clients, showcasing how our client's platform can address their unique needs. The ideal candidate is proactive, innovative, and thrives on continuous learning and development. In addition to acquiring new clientele, you will play a pivotal role in servicing existing accounts and gaining comprehensive insight into the mobile performance market.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through provided leads or personal contacts.
- Engage with app developers to facilitate their growth utilizing our client’s suite of tools and resources.
- Establish connections with mobile advertising agencies, elucidating the capabilities of our client's platform.
- Forge strategic partnerships with app developers and publishers within the mobile ecosystem.
- Lead the sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure, ensuring adherence to monthly KPIs.
- Utilize CRM tools such as Pipedrive to maintain organizational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline deal closure and campaign execution.
- Liaise with Account Managers, Sales Operations, and Media Buying teams to optimize client success.
- Resolve client challenges leveraging our client’s platform and domain expertise.
- Continuously explore growth opportunities through rigorous research and data analysis.
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in programmatic/mobile app advertising.
- Proficiency in Adtech, Programmatic, Ad Networks, DSP, and SSP.
- Familiarity with ad serving, campaign management, and mobile marketing. Proven track record of meeting or surpassing sales targets.
- Comfortable with personal sales goals and team KPIs. Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of German or another language is advantageous.
- Previous experience in a startup environment. Located in Berlin or open to relocation. Proficient in various sales techniques with a knack for relationship-building.
- Existing connections within the mobile app/gaming community are highly desirable.
